What Has Really Changed With The Electoral Commission : Rev Fr Ignatius James Yaw Amponsah Quizzes

The above question is a multi - million question, that some Ghanaians are asking in connection with defence that the NDC Government put up to defend the credibility of the Voters register, when Charlotte Osei was the EC Boss.

 As we all know, to err is human. But then, what we always need to pray for, is the grace to overcome extreme erring.

 With regard to the question, 'What has changed,' with the greatest respect, kindly permit me to state the following:

1.During the period in question, the EC Boss was accused of supervising the infiltration of names of so many Togolese nationals.

The then Ruling Government, put a defence that the said accusations were just destructive propaganda to discredit the voters register and the EC Boss.

In order not to call for civil war, the EC at that time, allowed critical auditing of the said register, and lo and behold, the group that did the auditing, reported that the said accusations were just 'partisan lies'.

Today, the EC has been caught red - handed embarking on very serious calculated, unprecedented, illegal and criminal mass transfer of voters, to 'strange places'.

This extreme injustice, never took place, during the time of Madam Charlotte Osei, the stone rejected by the builders, now an International Election Administrator.

This is how God exonerates His children, who get accused falsely, out of malice, jealously and hatred.

 2. A more serious injustice, to the Ghanaian voter, is the 'stolen' BVD, that have found their ways in some wrongful hands.

How could anybody on this earth, simply say, this strange occurrence can never be used to manipulate the voters register? How on earth, can BVD under heavy electronic surveillance, as well as, military and police protection, be 'stolen' without the EC knowing about it?

The EC quick denial of the 'stolen' BVD, when the news of the 'stolen' BVD broke out, alone, should send all Ghanaians everywhere and anywhere, to the roof top, to shout loudly for independent forensic auditing of our current voters register, for the scam in it is just too outrageous.

 And no Citizens of a Civilized Nation, will just sit back, or sit on the fence, and see how things unfold, in such a critical MOMENT.
