GROUP HONOURS JOHN BOADU FOR HIS CONTRIBUTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF NPP

 Mr John Boadu, the immediate - past General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has been honoured for his immense contribution to the development of the New Patriotic Party (Party), especially during his tenure.

An NPP group comprising of the Greater Accra Regional Organizers, Ashanti Regional Secretaries and Assistant Secretaries of the party visited and expressed appreciation to him for his leading role to the development of good governance, at his residence on October 21, 2023.

The delegation presented to him a Citation in appreciation of his selfless contribution to the New Patriotic Party and political dispensation of the country during his tenure as National Officer, particularly as the General Secretary.

They tauted the sterling performance of Mr John Boadu to instill discipline, ensured proper structures and principles of the party were strictly adhered to, promoted respect, peace and stability within the NPP.

The group implored the current leadership of the NPP to continuously engage the rich experience of Mr John Boadu in the activities and management of the party and governance of the country.

 According to them, Mr John Boadu is the brain behind the popular vision of the party to break the eight - year political cycle between the NPP and NDC (breaking the '8') agenda.

"We cannot break the 'eight' alone without involving the original architect, Mr John Boadu. Our national executives must work with him towards the upcoming 2024 elections"

Mr John Boadu said it is thrilling to see such an outpouring of love and appreciation from both Greater Accra Regional Organisers and Ashanti Regional Constituency Secretaries and Assistant Secretaries Association.

The Former General Secretary stressed that it was a pleasure and an honor to see loyal friends including members of the delegation, who are not easily swayed.
