The National Sports Authority (NSA) in the Ahafo Region, has scheduled 1st April, 2024 and Goaso as the date and venue for the maiden edition of its Regional Marathon.

Mr Festus Bofah, the Ahafo Regional Officer, NSA, in an interview with Asempa Dawuro Newspaper in Goaso, indicated that the showpiece was part of measures to ensure development of sports in the area.

He stressed that sports festival would shape the skills of known athletes, discover talents of new cross - country runners, enhance socialisation and networking among other benefits.

he Regional Officer therefore entreated Athletes in the region and beyond especially students to register at a fee of GH¢50 among other instructions on the flyer below.
