Ghana Corporate Summit And Awards Held With A Call On Government To Improve Businesses Growth And Industry Competitiveness

The Ghana Corporate Summit and Awards (GCSA) 2024 edition has been held on June 28, 2024 at Accra in the Greater - Accra region, with a call on Government to improve business growth and industry competitiveness.

 It was attended by Corporate Executives, Members of the Diplomatic Corps, Nananom, Journalists, officials of Imperial Leo Network and Special Guests among other dignitaries.

The Group CEO of Imperial Leo Network, the organisers of the GCSA, Dr. Paul Boachie - Ansah said the summit was held on the theme, "Honoring the past, Treasuring the present and Shaping the future".

According to him, the summit was aimed at bringing business chieftains, public sector officials, organizations and investors in the country who deserve recognition for accomplishments in their respective areas of endeavour in the current challenging economy.

Dr Paul Boachie - Ansah, who is also the Chairman of Square Lab House Holdings, indicated that the importance of inspiring Ghanaian business brands, to integrate and to innovate Ghanaian products and services is key to raising revenue for national development.

The Group CEO stated that government proposed budget statement and economic policies had strategies for increasing revenue by widening tax net and that Ghana can use tax policy to increase revenue while supporting business growth and industry competitiveness.

 "revenues can be increased through greater compliance and efficiently across all the tax handles, reduction of tax evasion and enhancing the capacity of Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) to mobilise tax revenue effectively" he reiterated.

Dr Paul Boachie - Ansah emphasised that all award winners have distinguished themselves very well in Ghana's business sphere saying that you are congratulated for your unrivalled achievements.

The Group CEO of Imperial Leo Network eulogized awardees that "once you have been nominated for these awards, you are a great achiever so be glad and encouraged to do better at thriving in the area of business you fraternize in".

He expressed gratitude to the award winners for truly setting exemplary professional and personal achievements which have propelled you to become part of the community in the corporate Ghana.

 Ambassador Dr Prince Kojo - Hilton, Founder of Global Art Connect, one of the creative minds on the panel at the summit urged actors in the creative arts industry to acquire necessary professional skills for effective practice and growth.

He implored individuals in the creative arts industry to come out with robust measures of effectively showcasing their talents and presenting themselves in a compelling manner to attract attention globally.

The Pan African Art Ambassador added that It is imperative for industry players to involve individuals with a strong understanding of business principles at every stage of the production process to ensure success and profitability.

 He stated that the creative arts industry in Ghana is on an upward trajectory with increasing recognition and support both locally and internationally, and that continued investment and strategic initiatives are essential for sustainability and growth.

As a United States of America (USA) Presidential Service Center International Film Festival Chairperson, Amb Kojo - Hilton noted, it was essential for me to utilize my expertise to contribute to the growth and success of the industry.

Also in attendance were Dr Dennis Ameko - Chief Personnel Officer of Imperial Leo Network and Managing Director of Sheraz Foods Ltd and Dr. Francis Yeboah - Chief Operating Officer of Imperial Leo Network and Group CEO of Royal Colours.

Special Guests for the summit include H.E Fidelis Graand - Galon - Suriname Ambassador to Ghana, Kenya and South Africa, HRM Dr Nana Adwoa Enyinfuaa III - Queen Mother of Ekumfi Swedru, Founder and CEO of Ena Kare Foundation.

Others are Oheneyere Gifty Anti, President and Founder - Gifty Anti Foundation and Mrs Mary Brown - Consultant, China Europe International Business School - Africa (CEIBS - Africa).

Giant award recipients were Philip Attiapa Mensah - Founder and CEO of PAMV Legacy Estates (Best Real Estate Company 2024), Dr Edu Muhammad, CEO of Edu Herbal Clinic (Most Outstanding Herbal Clinic 2024).

 Others were Genau Ghana limited (Best Manufacturer of Financial Equipment), Nakasky Company Limited (Best in Information Technology) and Oheneyere Gifty Anti, President and Founder of Gifty Anti Foundation (Best in Women Empowerment) among many other awardees.
