Ahafo NADMO Presents Relief Items To Families Of Affected Inferno At Hwediem

 The National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) in the Ahafo Region, on Friday presented some relief items to families of affected fire incident at Hweidiem in Asutifi South District.

Relief items namely mattresses, rubber basins, cups, blankets, soaps among other household wares were distributed to the affected persons.

 Regional Director, Collins Osei Bonsu, led a team of officers to the scene in the early hours of the day. A house located at Hwidiem Zongo which had over 11 rooms has been razed down by fire beyond maintenance.

The cause of the inferno is under investigation by the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) and allied agencies.

The Asutifi South District Director of NADMO, Musah Issaka accompanied the team to the scene.

The victims appreciated the swift effort made by Nadmo-Ahafo Regional Head Office.
