The Director - General, Commission for Technical Vocational Education Training (CoTVET), Dr Fred Kyei Asamoah, on Sunday 24th December, 2024, filed his nomination form to contest the Offinso North Constituency Parliamentary Primaries.

Dr Fred Kyei Asamoah during the presentation of his forms at Akumadan in the Ashanti region, entreated delegates to support him to win the sinking seat for the youth of Offinso North ahead of the upcoming primaries.

The Parliamentary Candidate (PC) hopeful believes the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will continue to win the seat if party supporters started telling the achievement of Nana Akufo - Addo administration.

"This is the time now let's all come together and rescue offinso North. Dr Fred Kyei Asamoah is the best candidate for us to spearhead the growth and prosperity agenda of the constituency" he stressed.

Dr Fred Kyei Asamoah promised to work tirelessly to increase the votes percentage of 49.70 recorded by the incumbent to a higher figure, when given the nod.

Some residents who spoke to Journalists on behalf of the delegates promised to work hard to ensure massive win for Dr Fred Kyei Asamoah to continue his good work .

According to them, the area is bedeviled with poor road network, mass youth unemployment and poor security among other challenges under the watch of the current MP, and that it is Dr Fred Kyei Asamoah who can rescue the constituency.

Dr Fred Kyei Asamoah is not an MP yet, they stated, but has been able to lobby for over 409 scholarships, 301 teaching appointments, Fire service, police among other areas of support for residents of Offinso North Constituency. 

He emphasised that "we are convinced that when we send him to Parliament, he can speak for us, lobby projects for us and and care for us with all humility and love".
