Yesterday, the class of Advanced LLM in Energy Law at the University of Groningen , Netherlands toured some energy institutions in Groningen.

When we got to the Energy Policy Department Municipality of Groningen, the Director of the Agency demanded that we should provide our passports before they would allow us access to the Agency.

Initially, they rejected our student ID with the reason that student ID is not a national Identity card.

I decided not to give my passport to them but instead Ghana card. I gave my Ghana Card to the Director and he asked where is your passport and i told him that, this is the approved national identity card in Ghana .

He asked me again that, so you don't have passport and i answered yes.

The Director then handed over my Ghana Card to the Chief Security officer to scan and in less than one minute he told me ,you are good to enter - i have your details here.

I said to myself that, no matter the situation in NPP , i have to revise the 2014 to 2016 hard work spirit in order for us to break the eight year political cycle in Ghana.

Even though some of us including majority of our footsoldiers haven't been treated fairly over the 7 years by "some " appointees, we cannot allow the "destroyers" to assume the affairs of this country again.
