The Concerned Lotto Agents Association of Ghana (CLAAG) in collaboration with the National Lottery Authority (NLA) have initiated a nationwide registration exercise for Lotto Agents and Writers across Ghana.

The project aims to establish systems that ensure fairness and accountability, benefiting all operators.

The event, led by the Director -General of the NLA, Mr Samuel Awuku, and the Executive Secretary of CLAAG, Mr Kwaku Duah -Tawiah, aims to bring lotto agents together under a single regulatory framework.

Speaking at the launch, Mr Awuku stressed the importance of registration with CLAAG, stating that it will help the NLA identify operators who comply with industry regulations, allowing them to operate without interference.

He added that the collaboration will ensure that all lotto agents are officially recognized as part of CLAAG saying that "once they adhere to the regulations, agents will be permitted to operate freely, without unnecessary disruptions".

Mr Kwaku Duah -Tawiah indicated that the initiative is designed to level the playing field for all operators, enhance security, and boost revenue for national development.
