DESILT GUTTERS OR RISK LOSING YOUR LIVES, PROPERTIES TO FLOODING - Dr HASSAN AYARIGA URGES

The Founder and Leader of the All Peoples Congress (APC) Dr Hassan Ayariga, has enjoined Ghanaians to desilt gutters of their streets in their neighbourhood to avoid flooding.
He indicated that flooding has become perennial in almost every suburb of our towns and cities in Ghana which has not been corrected by authorities.
Dr Hassan Ayariga stated these on Friday when he granted an interview with the asempadawuro.com on the state of environmental cleanliness in the country.
The Leader of APC expressed worry about how people loose their lives and properties when God blesses us with rains.
He has therefore called on individuals, landlords, the clergy, Chiefs, Assembly members and politicians to organise communal labour every fortnight to desilt gutters that are choked with plastics and other silts.
Dr Hassan Ayariga entreated Metropolitan Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) to strictly enforce bye - laws that prohibits littering of our streets.
The Founder further stated that "we cannot blame politicians when it comes to saving human life. We are all responsible for our actions and inactions. Let’s build Ghana together and make our nation great".
