AGONA ODOBEN RESIDENTS HAIL DR MICHAEL KYEREMATENG FOR GIVING THEM POTABLE WATER.

Residents of Agona Odoben in the Breman Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District in the Central region, have expressed gratitude to Dr Michael Kojo Kyeremateng, for giving them potable water.

According to them, some faulty community - based water projects in the area including Anafo Zongo Electoral Area, were fixed by the President of C4C Medical Center and his team on Tuesday, 1st August, 2023.

Some residents who narrated their ordeal to Journalists at Agona Odoben after the repair works, indicated that they were denied good drinking water for about three years, but thanks to Dr Kojo Kyeremateng, the tap was flowing again.

Mr Ohene Takyi, an Opinion Leader of the community, noted that many school - going children and adults including pregnant women struggled to draw water at very far for their daily activities.

"The community could not fixe the faulty water system due to financial difficulty. We appealed to Dr Kojo Kyeremateng who did not hesitate to come to our aid. We are very grateful to him" he stated.

The Opinion Leader indicated that the project will not only serve the farming community which has about 800 population, but will ease the stress the other adjoining community goes through to access quality water. 

Miss Mabel Ama Dadzie, the Executive Secretary, Michael Kyeremateng Foundation, stated that the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), a Medical practitioner, by profession knows the important role water plays in quality healthcare promotion, the move to support them.
