ASUNAFO NORTH MP COMMISSIONS A GH 400,000 MODERN VIP WARD AT GOASO MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Asunafo North Constituency, Evans Opoku Bobbie, on Monday commissioned a modern Very Important Personality (VIP) ward worth GH 400,000 at the Goaso Municipal hospital.

The ward, which would attract a token from patients who needed extra comfort and privacy at the hospital, is equipped with 10 rooms with massaging bed, television set, kitchen, and toilet and bath facilities in each room.

Commissioning the project, Mr Evans Opoku Bobbie who is also the Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports, expressed satisfaction with the infrastructure and medical centers in the municipality, and assured his commitment to improving it.

The MP indicated that several health infrastructure projects were ongoing in the various communities within the Asunafo North Municipality, which would be commissioned soon. 

Mr Opoku Bobie entreated the management of the municipal hospital to ensure regular maintenance of the facility in order for it to last longer saying that "we can use the amount which might be use for maintenance to initiate other projects".

Mr Osei Yaw Boahen, the Asunafo North Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), commended the Member of Parliament for his efforts to improve the living standards of residents and achievements made in providing quality healthcare in the area.
