The Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr Kwame Baffoe Abronye, has cautioned Constituency Officers to be mindful of their utterances when campaigning against any of the flag bearer hopefuls.
He indicated that all the ten gallant party men who have fulfilled the requirement of the party, are seeking to lead the NPP since the Party’s democratic credentials allows for it saying "we must surely accord them the respect".
“If you malign any of the Hopefuls and he happens to be elected, how are you going to play your role in the major campaign of 2024 without being seen as a saboteur”, he quizzed
The Regional Chairman implored that the internal contest must never breed enmity within the Party as the main goal is to retain power against the the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the main opposition party in Ghana.
Mr Kwame Abronye indicated that the NDC was cunning and extremely mischievous hence his office would not countenance any attitude likely to thwart the agenda of the Npp in capturing the Bono Region come 2024.
He stated these at the maiden Bono Regional Organizer’s Forum in Sunyani, under the auspices of the Regional Organizer, Mr Afari Gyan and facilitated by Regional Chairman.
The forum was held to empower the entire 12 constituencies to navigate through the modern trend of politics and to maximize the chances of wooing voters into the Party.
Mr Kwame Abronye took the various constituency executives through key propaganda headline topics in the media kicking against the Party and how to counter them.
The 12 constituencies were Sunyani East, Sunyani West, Berekum East, Berekum West, Dormaa East, Dormaa West, Dormaa Central, Banda, Tain, Jaman North, Jaman South and Wenchi
It was also attended by the various Municipal and District Chief executives (MDCEs) in the Bono region, who took turns to address the gathering.
All regional Executives were present as well to
support the program.
