PaFa EXCELLENCE AWARDS LAUNCHED TO CELEBRATE EXCEPTIONAL ACHIEVEMENT IN MEDIA LANDSCAPE

The PaFa Excellence Awards (PEA) has been introduced in the country to honour exceptional achievements in the media sector, George Antwi, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), has stated.

He indicated that at the heart of the media industry, where dreams become reality and innovation thrives, lies the PaFa Excellence Awards.

The CEO disclosed these on Tuesday in an interview with Journalists at a media briefing to launch the maiden edition of the PaFa Excellence Awards.

"We believe in celebrating the unyielding spirit of those who have risen above, the ones who continue to inspire and lead, and the promising up - and - comings who are carving their own path" he noted.

Mr George Antwi indicated that it was the mission of the PEA to honor the exceptional achievements of individuals and entities within the dynamic realms of media.

He emphasised that every accolade presented is a testament to dedication, hard work, and a commitment to making a lasting impact in the media space.

The CEO added that the awards is not just about the laurels, but the stories behind them – stories of passion, determination, and the relentless pursuit of greatness. 

He said the awards celebrate those who have transformed challenges into triumphs and aspirations into reality adding that what sets the PEA apart is our commitment to fairness and inclusiveness. 

Mr George Antwi assured that winners are chosen through the voices of the people, the true fans and supporters who believe in the power of acknowledging excellence. 

"Each vote represents a heartfelt endorsement, a nod of approval that says, "You've made a difference, and we see it"

"As we embark on this journey of celebrating the well - deserved and the rising stars, we invite you to join us" he added.

The CEO entreated the general public to be part of this extraordinary milestone of achievement, where talent meets opportunity, and where dreams are celebrated on the highest stage. 

Mr George Antwi stressed that the PaFa Excellence Awards is not just an event – it is a movement, a collective effort to honor those who inspire us to dream big and reach for the stars.

The CEO gladly said with every vote cast, with every winner announced, we are writing history – the history of the extraordinary souls who dared to dream and redefine what is possible.

This scheme strives to award excellent personalities in the following categories; female personality of the year, gospel show of the year, best gospel artiste of the year, male personality of the year and talk show of the year.

Other categories include best hip - hop artiste of the year, radio station of the year, drive time host of the year, best afro pop/afro beat artiste, TV station of the year and morning show host of the year.

The rest are best reggae/dancehall artiste, radio show of the year, mid - morning show host, best rapper, TV show of the year, artiste of the year, entertainment show of the year and CEO of the year.

Exceptional media personalities in the areas of best MC, sports show of the year, commentator/analyst, hip - hop song, male newscaster, discovery presenter, afro pop/afro beat song, female newscaster and graphic designer of the year, will be awarded.

Reggae /dancehall song of the year, DJ of the year, radio/TV producer of the year, unsung artiste, blogger, photographer, most popular song of the year, music producer, best actor and best actress would be honored.
