 Chiefs and people of Mim in the Ahafo region had visited President Akufo - Addo at the Jubilee House to present their case, emphasizing the need for the district creation.

Their efforts has been successful as President assured them of his commitment to fulfill their request. 

The promise has been met with widespread appreciation and optimism from various stakeholders in the Mim community. 

Stakeholder institutions within and outside Mim expressed their profound gratitude towards Mim Manhene for his unwavering dedication to the cause. 

Mim Manhene Dwantoahemaa and Bediako Hemaa, Nana Akua Afrah Ababio, echoed the community's confidence in President Akufo -Addo's ability to deliver on his promise.

 Mr Daniel Gbenyo, Mim zonal Chairman, Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association (GNTDA), affirmed his support for the initiative saying that newly created district for Mim is long overdue.
